On March 1 and 2, La Molina was the backdrop of a ski competition that has captured the attention of international sport, with a select group of skiers who demonstrated their skills in a position. This event, part of the winter calendar, attracted 250 elite participants.
The emerging champions
The names of Nur Torres, Conrad Sastre and Miquel Mateu resonate strongly after the competition, as all three were crowned as absolute champions of Catalonia 2025 in their respective categories. Torres shone in both modes, showing an impressive consistency that catapulted it to the first place.
Giant slalom: a memorable start
The first day was marked by the giant slalom competition, which took place at the Solell Stadium. The skiers, with a collaborative spirit, contributed to preparing the layout, which was challenged by a thin layer of snow fell last night. This collaboration was essential to ensure optimum competition conditions.

Women on the podium
In the women’s category, Nur Torres (CAEI-FCEH) took the first place with a time of 2: 19.80, followed by Anna Borràs (Torb) who was at +2.81 and Marina Roselló (LMCE) who completed the podium with a delay of +4.35.
Male competition
Conrad Sastre (Granuec) was the winner among the men, stopping the stopwatch at 2: 13.37, with Lluc de Castellarnau (CAEI-Fceh) and Alex Jorge (CAEI-FCEH) occupying the second and third places, respectively.
Slalem: A Day of Challenges
The second day of competition focused on the slalom, held at the Plans Stadium. The weather conditions were especially harsh, with a new snow layer that required extraordinary effort from technicians and skiers to prepare the track. The joint work said that the competition was developed without mishap.
Final results of the slalom
In the slalom mode, Torres repeated his brilliant performance with a time of 1: 38.38. Anna Borràs was again its main competitor, ending at +0.97, while Marta Rabat (Granuec-Fceh) completed the podium with a delay of +5.59. On the other hand, Miquel Mateu (LMCE) was crowned as a male champion with a time of 1: 32.08.

The Catalan Alpine Ski Championship, together with the 2nd Lluís Breitfuss Memorial, has strengthened the image of Catalan skiing as a benchmark for quality and competition.
