A Easter full of activities for everyone
With the arrival of Easter, the Sagrada Familia approaches the community with a diverse program that includes liturgical, cultural and leisure events. From March 24, interested parties will be able to discover the detailed programming on the website of the Basilica, where an exciting draw of 400 double tickets for the special Easter concert stands out.
Enriching activities for children
Among the proposals is a workshop designed for children between 6 and 12 years old, which will be held from April 5 to 21. This initiative includes an interactive visit to the temple through the game ‘In search of lost sounds’, where children will explore the sounds that resonate in the basilica and discover how various scenes would sound, such as the echoes of the manger or the music of the organ. In addition, they will learn about the tradition of making noises to scare bad energies, ending with the decoration of a chat-xerrac that they can take home as a memory.
Easter concert with a prestigious choir
On Saturday, April 5 at 7 pm, the Orfeó Pamplonès, one of the most emblematic choirs in Europe founded in 1865, will offer a concert dedicated to Easter. Directed by Igor Ijurra and with the accompaniment of Oscar Candendo to the organ, the repertoire will focus on the most significant moments of this religious festival. The Sagrada Familia encourages citizens to participate in this musical event, with the draw of 400 double tickets available for those who sign up from March 24 to 30.
A show of lights and music
On April 13, 14 and 15, the façade of the Passion will become a stage of light and music, with texts created by Msgr. David Abadías, auxiliary bishop of Barcelona. This visual and sound experience will be presented in two daily sessions of 20 minutes, at 9 pm and 9.30 pm, alternating between Catalan and Spanish. Access to this event is free and open to all.
Liturgical celebrations schedules
In addition to these activities, visitors can consult the Sagrada Familia website to obtain information on the schedules of liturgical celebrations, including the Mass of Rams, the Tridu Pasqual and the Via Crucis, in order to fully live this time of reflection and spirituality.
