A collaborative space for professionals
The 36th edition of the Igualada exhibition is approaching a renewed approach to its Pro Catalan Arts initiative, which offers a dynamic atmosphere for professionals in the sector. Located on the first floor of the Skin Museum, the Llotja will become a nucleus of activities designed to facilitate the interaction between companies, programmers and other agents in the world of performing arts.
Varied activities for all
From Thursday 3 to Saturday, April 5, the Pro Catalan Arts exhibition will offer a wide range of activities, including round tables and presentations. One of the most anticipated moments is the ‘vermouth pro’, where attendees will enjoy wine with denomination of origin Catalonia, thus favoring informal conversations between professionals.
First coffee in the sample
For those who visit the fair for the first time, the ‘First Coffee in the Show’ is offered, an opportunity to connect with the accompaniment Pro Margarida Troguet, who will share tips to maximize the experience during the event.
Innovative debates and presentations
The first day of the fair will begin with a round table focused on the intersection between culture and education, moderated by Cristina Alonso. This session will be complemented by presentations by national and international programmers, following the official opening of the Llotja.
A revealing study
To close the day, a study on the stage activity for schoolchildren in Catalonia will be presented, prepared by the CONCA and the TTP, which will analyze the trends and challenges of the sector in the educational field.
Fostering the future of the performing arts
On Friday 4th, a session will be dedicated to the interaction between young artists, facilitating a space for future professionals to share experiences and forgin links. The ‘Connectart’ activity will allow the presentation of artistic projects in front of programmers of various backgrounds.
Creation workshops and tools
The final day of Saturday, April 5, will focus on the tools for the creation and professionalization, including measures to support the artistic creation presented by the AADPC.
Registration and opportunities
Although online registrations closed on March 21, professionals will still be able to accredit directly to the Llotja during the days of the fair. On the sample website, interested parties will be able to discover the benefits of accrediting themselves, which include discounts on entries and access to an exclusive space for professionals.
