A unique culinary experience in Tarragona
This Friday, April 4, the Tarraco Arena Plaza will become an epicenter of flavors with the arrival of ‘Pizza Combat’, an event that promises to delight pizza lovers until April 13.
An innovative and competitive format
With a ring and 18 pizzeries from all over the participant, this gastronomic show seeks to crown the best pizza in Catalonia. The times to enjoy this competition will be from Monday to Friday, from 18:30 to 23:30, and on weekends all day, from 12:30 to 23:30.
A tour of several cities
The ‘Pizza Combat’ is not limited to Tarragona, but will tour fifteen cities across the country with the aim of discovering the best pizzeria. In this edition, 18 pizzeries from 14 autonomous communities have been selected, which will compete in one of the most anticipated competitions in the gastronomic world.
The participants and their dishes
Among the prominent pizzeries, only a Catalan establishment, the Trafalgar Pizza Club in Barcelona, will represent the region. Other participants include Casa Mia de Córdoba, Five Napoli Pizza de Valladolid, and Mondo Napoli de Murcia, among others. The prices of the portions will range from 3 to 4 euros, allowing attendees to taste various options.

In addition to taste the best pizzas, visitors will be able to participate in interactive games and experiences, making each day a complete celebration of culinary culture. The audience will play a key role, as it will decide which pizzeria deserves the title of champion at the end of the event.
