A triumph that opens doors
The Europa Sports Club has reached a significant milestone in its 2025-2026 season, guaranteeing its participation in the King’s Cup. The recent victory against Sabadell, combined with several factors, has allowed the Gràcia team to ensure its access to this prestigious competition when there are still four days left to finish the second RFEF.
Conditions that secure the classification
The King’s Cup classification is based on the allocation of five places for each group of the second RFEF. Europe currently leads its group with 57 points, maintaining a distance of 10 points from the fifth place, Sabadell. This difference, together with the absence of subsidiaries in competition and the results of direct clashes, impossible any situation that can leave Europe out of the Cup.
A recent tradition
This will be the third time in a row that CE Europa has participated in the Cup, after its previous experiences against teams such as Albacete and Las Palmas. The consolidation of this club in prestigious competitions is an indicator of its progression.
Looking to the future: ascent as a new goal
With the participation in the Cup insured, Europe does not settle and fix its gaze in the promotion. Team like Espanyol B, Valencia Mestalla and Elche Illicità will not be able to compete in the Cup, leaving the open road for Europe, which still has the opportunity to be displaced by rivals such as the Torrent or Ibiza. However, both teams will face each other, which will ensure that at least one of them loses points, strengthening the position of CE Europe.
The way to the first RFEF
With only four remaining days, the goal of achieving the title of champion and the direct promotion to Primera RFEF becomes more and more tangible. In the next game against Olot, Europe will have the opportunity to mathematically seal its presence in the promotion play-off, with a victory or even a draw.
