A new opportunity for the community
This past weekend the third practical horticulture course in Manlleu, organized by the Ter Defense Group, was successfully concluded. With a total of 30 participating students, this initiative has provided a unique opportunity to learn the techniques of cultivation and maintenance of a community garden.
After the success of this experience, the Ter Defense Group is considering the possibility of creating social gardens in Can Sanglas. This initiative will not only promote sustainability and organic farming, but also foster community cohesion and citizen participation in a natural environment.
An impetus for sustainability and citizen participation
The creation of community gardens in Can Sanglas would represent an important step towards the promotion of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. In addition, it would give the residents of the area the opportunity to actively participate in the process of growing and maintaining the gardens, thus promoting ecological awareness and shared responsibility for the well-being of the neighborhood.
A space for coexistence and personal growth
In addition to being an opportunity for the practice of organic agriculture, the creation of community gardens in Can Sanglas would also open the doors to a space for meeting and interaction between residents. This natural environment would provide a place for gathering and recreation, promoting the creation of social bonds and personal growth through collective learning.
