Kicking off the weekend at 10:00 GMT on Saturday, the event will commence with a dramatic cannon firing ceremony. Among the highlights is the arrival of the Johanna Lucretia, a historic vessel that has graced the waters since 1945, making its way to Sutton Harbour as part of the celebration.

Jon Walton, the CEO of the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership, shared insights on the extensive nine-month planning process that brought this festival to life. To promote sustainable travel, a complimentary shuttle service named ‘Aargh & Ride’ will operate throughout the weekend, providing easy access to various festival sites. This eco-friendly initiative will run on a 45-minute loop, ensuring visitors can enjoy the festivities without the hassle of parking.
