Rafa Botello in negotiations with the Spanish Paralympic Athletics Federation
The wheelchair athlete Rafa Botello is in full negotiations with the Spanish Paralympic Athletics Federation and the International Olympic Committee regarding the number of events in which he will participate in the next Paralympic Games in Beijing, which will be held next September. The state body has enrolled Botello in more tests than he considers ready.
Intensive preparation in Sierra Nevada
Rafa Botello has moved to the High Performance Center of Sierra Nevada, in Granada, to finish the last training before leaving for Beijing. The preparation these days is special, as the number of training sessions has been reduced, but those that are carried out are tougher and aimed at the tests in which the athlete will participate.
Incorporation of the Spanish Paralympic athletics team
This Wednesday, the remaining members of the Spanish Paralympic athletics team joined the Granada sports center, including Roger Puigbó from Osona. Training for the Paralympics in Granada will last until August 26.
