The Figueres Trend Show: a catwalk in solidarity
The Figueres Trend Show is a fashion event organized by the Figueres Trade Association and We Love Uganda. This fashion show, which took place on Saturday 16 March at the El Jardí Theatre, raised 1,600 euros for the education of children in Uganda.
An event full of style and elegance
The second edition of the Figueres Trend Show was a great success, setting a trend in the world of fashion. During the event, attendees were able to enjoy the latest spring-summer collections from various stores in Figueres. The ensembles were worn by professional models from the Piùbella Models agency.
An evening full of music and talent
In addition to fashion, the Figueres Trend Show offered a unique musical experience. Jordi Rubau’s piano and singing class, Mònica Lucena’s students and the Gospel Tramunt.cor formation enlivened the evening with their performances.
Benefits for attendees
After the parade, attendees received discount vouchers for various stores associated with the Figueres Trade Association. This allowed them to acquire the pieces and accessories that they paraded on the catwalk.
We Love Uganda: a solidarity organization
We Love Uganda is an organization that works to fight inequalities and promote the education of children in Uganda. Since its creation in 2019, they have launched several projects, such as education grants for young people and boys and girls. Thanks to the funds raised at events such as the Figueres Trend Show, they have been able to provide education to 12 teenagers and 8 children over the past two years.
A promising future
The Figueres Trend Show is an example of how fashion can contribute to charitable causes. Thanks to the involvement of the Figueres Trade Association and all the participants, it has been possible to guarantee the education of children in Uganda. This event is an opportunity for the Figueres community to show their solidarity and support for We Love Uganda.
