The Department of Land improves urban connectivity
The Department of Territory has announced the tender for works to build a cycle path and improve urban integration between Montcada and Reixac and Mollet del Vallès. This action aims to boost connectivity and decarbonized mobility in the area.
A new route for pedestrians and cyclists
The new route for pedestrians and cyclists will be 5 kilometers long and will allow citizens to travel in a safer and more sustainable way. This initiative is part of the policies to promote sustainable, active and healthy mobility foreseen in the Catalan Bicycle Strategy.
Investment and work schedule
The works will cost 10.2 million euros and are expected to begin at the end of summer, with an estimated duration of 18 months. This investment is part of a wider project that foresees a total investment of more than 100 million euros in 124 kilometers of cycle paths until 2025.
