Police operation in various parts of the city
The local authorities of Granollers and les Franqueses carried out, last Friday, random checks in three different places: at the Can Mònic roundabout, at the Ramassar estate and at the crossroads between Carrer de Girona and the Bellavista neighborhood. In total, 42 vehicles were inspected and 13 complaints were issued.
Resolution of theft cases
The previous week, the Local Police of les Franqueses solved two cases of theft. In the first case, stolen material was recovered thanks to payment with a stolen card. In the second case, the perpetrator of the robbery with intimidation was arrested using the victim’s mobile data.
Municipal Action Plan to improve security
Within the 2023-2027 Municipal Action Plan of les Franqueses, actions are included to increase security in the town. Work will be done on a Local Security Plan with specific protocols to improve in this area and collaboration with other police forces will be sought to strengthen controls at strategic points.
