Changes in the Sant Feliu emergency service
The mayor of the city, Jordi San José, was unhappy with the cancellation of the nighttime emergency service in Sant Feliu de Llobregat. This decision violates the agreement signed during the month of July.
Reduced hours for the Emergency Service
The Emergency Service of the Basic Health Area The Sant Feliu de Llobregat Plan will be adjusted from next Monday, October 24. From this date, the service will be available from 8am to 12pm, Monday to Sunday.
Changes in the organization of urgent care services
This change in the ambulatory’s emergency hours is part of the regulation of the Department of Health of the Generalitat. The aim is to adapt the offer of urgent care services to territorial needs.
Disagree with the decision
During a meeting, the mayor of Sant Feliu expressed his disagreement with the decision to abolish the night emergency service. This decision goes against the commitment established with the director of the Catalan Health Service after the approval of a municipal motion in June.
Commitments kept
Despite this decision, emergency hours have been maintained until 12 midnight thanks to municipal pressure. In addition, the Department of Health has agreed to maintain the investment to improve the equipment of ABS El Pla. This includes expanding the facility with a new diagnostic imaging service and a mental health center for adults.

Citizens who need urgent attention outside the established hours can call the emergency number 112 or Sanitat Respon on 902 111 444, where they will be attended to by health professionals.
