The project ‘Voices of migrant women in Sant Feliu de Llobregat’
To give voice to these women and share their experiences, the photojournalist Raül Clemente has made a video entitled ‘Voices of women who migrated to Sant Feliu de Llobregat’. This project has recently been presented in the Culture Room of the Santfeliuenc University, as part of the events commemorating International Women’s Day.
The testimony of women
In the video, the women share their migration experiences, from their arrival in Sant Feliu to their current situation. They explain their feelings, concerns and future prospects from different places in the city, such as Plaça de la Solidaritat, Plaça Lluís Companys and Parc Nadal.
Recognition and support
The Councilor for Solidarity and Twinning, Núria Carrera, highlighted the struggle of this group of women and valued their diversity of experiences. Mayor Lourdes Borrell has claimed Sant Feliu as a welcoming city that welcomes and integrates migrants. The photojournalist Raül Clemente has thanked the bravery of the women who have participated in the project.
