Police investigation in Torredembarra
The Mossos d’Esquadra are carrying out an investigation into the discovery of a dead man inside a flat in Torredembarra, Tarragonès. The emergency personnel received the warning at around four in the morning, when the Catalan police were called following the discovery of the body in a house close to the sea, on Carrer Verge del Carme in this municipality.
According to the information advanced by El Diari de Tarragona and confirmed by the Mossos d’Esquadra, when the first police officers arrived at the scene, they confirmed the existence of the body of a man with obvious signs of criminality. Faced with these indications, the agents have activated the investigators of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Camp de Tarragona Police Region and the judicial entourage.
The investigation to clarify the facts and circumstances of the death remains open, and the judicial authority has decreed the secrecy of actions for the time being. So far, no further information or details have been released.
Case related to Bellcaire d’Empordà
In addition, the Mossos d’Esquadra are investigating the death of a minor found in a home in the municipality of Bellcaire d’Empordà, where his mother was also found seriously injured. The main hypothesis that the Catalan police are working with is that the perpetrator would be the father and that he would have attacked both of them with knives. The minor would be about four or five years old.
The efforts of the Mossos d’Esquadra are focusing on the search for the father of the little one, who is currently in an unknown whereabouts. So far, no further details have emerged about the ongoing investigation into this case.
