Business and Entrepreneurship Support at the Mollet Hub
During 2023, the Mollet Hub provided support for the creation of 47 new businesses and served 1,611 entrepreneurs, according to the 2023 report of the Municipal Company for Vocational Training and Employment (EMFO) of the City Council of Mollet. This support has been essential to foster business initiative and entrepreneurship in the city.
Job placement
The Municipal Employment Services of Mollet City Council played a crucial role in job placement, facilitating the finding of work for 821 people in 2023, representing an increase of 39% compared to the previous year. This success in job placement is linked to the increase in services provided by the municipal guidance and employment services, which provided 488 additional services, a growth of 3.3% compared to the previous year.
Municipal Employment Plans and Labor Guidance
In 2023, 98 municipal employment plans were contracted, through 7 different projects, demonstrating a continuous commitment to the creation of job opportunities in the community. In addition, 17 career guidance talks were held at secondary schools in Mollet del Vallès, with the participation of 450 students, and 82 information sessions on professional certificates were offered, with a total of 653 registrations and 109 completed certificates .
Promotion of Employment
To encourage job placement, two speed dating events were organized that brought together 15 companies and 112 candidates, in addition to the update of the EMFO app, with more than 1,500 downloads. Likewise, the Mollet LAB was launched, a space for training, creation and manufacturing related to innovation, intended for the young people of the city and entrepreneurial people of Mollet.
