A new challenge for the palm trees Carolina González and Yamila Díaz
The 2024 season is about to begin and the talented drivers Carolina González and Yamila Díaz are preparing to participate in the exciting XX Tierra Rally de Santa Lucía de Tirajana in Gran Canaria. Both will compete at the wheel of a Škoda Fabia Tsi N3 from the Auto Édal Competition team, representing the Breña Alta Mujer y Motor Project.
Just two weeks ago, the official presentation took place in the Los Álamos Park in the Villa de Breña Alta. During the event, the image of the vehicle was revealed and it was announced that its sports program for the 2024 season will include the Canary Islands Dirt Championship, which will begin this coming weekend on the island of Gran Canaria.
The ‘Breña Alta Woman and Motor’ project
The ‘Breña Alta Mujer y Motor’ project continues to consolidate over time. On this occasion, the two young drivers from the municipality will face a large-scale regional challenge, with the hope of representing Breña Alta Puro Sentimiento together with the Auto Édal Competition team.
The exciting XX Land Rally of Santa Lucía de Tirajana
The XX Santa Lucía de Tirajana Land Rally will begin this Friday with the recognition of the timed sections. In the afternoon, checks and the departure ceremony will take place. The competition will start on Saturday with the first special stage at 10:00 a.m., followed by other exciting stages throughout the day. It will be a challenging course that will allow the pilots to learn and improve with each kilometer traveled.
Carolina González and her enthusiasm for the new challenge
Carolina González is very excited about this new challenge. After debuting last year in the slalom, she will now take another step thanks to the Auto Édal Competition team and all of her collaborators. Representing Breña Alta Puro Sentimiento with the Mujer y Motor program at the regional level is an honor for her.
