A new alliance in the world of television
The renowned presenter Risto Mejide has taken a significant step in his career by joining with Mediaset to found Vadevil TV, a new production company that will assume the production of the programs Todo es lie and Viajando con Chester, which were previously in the hands of another company.
Mediaset and Risto Mejide have announced the creation of this independent production company, thus marking the end of a mystery that surrounded the relationship between La Fábrica de la Tele and Mediaset. Starting May 1, Vaudevil TV will be in charge of producing both the daily magazine show and the prime-time talk show, both presented by Mejide.
A new chapter in Spanish television
With this strategic alliance, it is confirmed that the programs that were previously in the hands of La Fábrica de la Tele, now owned by Mediaset, will be produced by Risto Mejide through his own company, Vaudevil TV.
The next step will be the dissolution of La Fábrica de la Tele as a company, since it will not be in charge of any format. It is worth remembering that Socialité already changed hands at the beginning of the year, moving to Christian Gálvez’s production company Fénix Media with María Verdoy as presenter replacing María Patiño and Nuria Marin.
Previous experience and new horizons
This is not Risto Mejide’s first foray into television production. In 2012, he founded the company 60dB, in collaboration with Mediaset, with which he produced various formats for the group’s thematic channels. Now, with Vaudeville TV, he opens a new chapter in his career as a television producer.
With this new stage, Risto Mejide positions himself as a key figure in television production in Spain, demonstrating his ability to lead large-scale projects in the world of television.
