Recently, the charismatic communicator has faced an experience that has deeply moved his loved ones, friends and followers of the program Your face sounds to me. During the last weeks, he went through a real ordeal from which he came to doubt if he would be able to get out.
After contracting a bacteria called Shigella during a trip to Vietnam, his health was severely compromised. The situation became complicated to the point of requiring two admissions to the ICU, one in Madrid and the other in Barcelona. A nightmare that plunged him into an abyss from which it seemed impossible to get out, due to necrotizing fasciitis that led to four surgeries on his leg and fourteen days in the Intensive Care Unit.
The rebirth
In an emotional letter addressed to his followers, Àngel Llàcer recounts how he came to fear for his life, even saying goodbye to his loved ones. However, his recovery has been amazing. As he passed through this dark tunnel, a new life was born around him, what he describes as ‘a gift of life’ after the scare he recently gave him.
The renowned actor and director expresses his deep gratitude to the medical team that treated him, especially to Dr. Cambray, Dr. Monllau, Dr. Pérez Prieto, doctors Simón, Pizza and Gaggioti, as well as to all the staff from the ICU. He highlights that this has been the most difficult time of his life, both physically and emotionally, but he holds on to the positivity and love received during these weeks.
