A serious illness and a brave fight
Recently, Lácer has gone through a very difficult experience. After a trip to Vietnam, he contracted a bacteria called Shigella, which triggered a series of health complications. He had to be admitted to the ICU twice and underwent four operations on his leg. He lived moments of great uncertainty and suffered for his life.

He confessed that he came to think that he would not get out of it and that he even said goodbye to his family and loved ones.
