The Popular Party will activate an investigative commission in the Senate
The Popular Party has announced that in July a commission of inquiry will be held in the Senate on the management of José Félix Tezanos at the head of the Centre for Sociological Research (CIS). The secretary general of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, has stated that since Tezanos assumed the position of director of the CIS, he has made it clear that his objective was to use the institution to benefit the Government and Pedro Sánchez. Gamarra has accused Tezanos of ending the impartiality, neutrality and credibility of the CIS, and has pointed out that the institution has lost all its credibility and is never right in its estimates.

The PP has carried out a study in defense of the general interest, analyzing the last 9 surveys carried out by the CIS. Allegations of manipulation and embezzlement
The PP affirms that the conclusions they have reached indicate that it is not ignorance, but rather manipulation on the part of Tezanos. Gamarra has highlighted that Tezanos has recognized knowledge in demographic terms, but clearly has a connection with the PSOE. The PP considers that it is necessary to thoroughly investigate what is happening in the CIS and take the corresponding legal measures.
Latest CIS barometer
The latest barometer published by the CIS shows that the PSOE remains above the rest of the parties in voting intention, although it has experienced a drop of four points since the previous month.
