A product that has generated a real shopping fever

In recent days, a Lidl product has caught the attention of millions of people on social media. It is an item that has generated a real shopping frenzy by unlocking a childhood memory. This phenomenon has put Lidl at the center of conversations. In addition, it has also demonstrated the power of social networks to influence consumer purchasing decisions.

The Lidl product that is on everyone’s lips

The product in question is an ice cream from Lidl that has not left anyone indifferent. It is a new version of the famous Pez candies and has caught everyone’s attention, especially on the networks. TikTok user Mario Baeza has tried it in one of his videos. Afterwards, many people were encouraged to buy it. In the supermarket it is already one of the best-selling ice creams of the summer.

Consumer reactions

In one of his videos, Baeza indicates that: ‘I came to Lidl because a follower told me that they have removed the Pez candies in an ice cream version’. After finding them, the video does nothing but improve. The user goes on to say: ‘Let’s see: no, I can’t believe it. What’s more, they are in a strawberry version! It’s just that I won’t even wait to get home’. Just then he adds: ‘I’ll open them here, right now, in the car.’

Product rating

First of all, Baeza highlighted the price of Lidl’s Pez ice creams, since ‘each box costs 1.99 euros and they sell four’. In addition, it highlights: ‘I can’t believe it, put on Pez’, referring to the famous brand. After trying them, the tiktoker shares that: ‘It doesn’t taste like the original candy to me. It’s good, but I thought I’d know more.’ After tasting the lemon ones, he says that: ‘It tastes a little more to me, it’s not that it’s an exaggerated thing’. In the video he ends by saying: ‘It was funny, it unlocked a memory from my childhood. I guess the candies will still sell them, but I haven’t seen them in a while.’ Nothing better than tasting them at Lidl to transport us back to a few years ago.
