The sixth GH Duo gala was chaotic for the audience, who had to vote up to three times without clearly understanding the purpose, and for the contestants, who were misinformed. Marta López expressed her frustration by exclaiming: “You are driving us absolutely crazy.”
During the gala, the usual expulsion took place, saying goodbye to the protagonist of recent weeks, Ana María Aldón. While she was leaving the house, other contestants entered for a visit of several days, believing that there would only be one, but in the end there would be two who would stay. This seemed to be a reality strategy to allow the only couple that emerged in the program, Ivana and Finito, to evolve in front of the cameras.
Nominations and surprises
During the last nominations, the contestants did not know that they were the last, and later the audience was able to save one of them, who would also have the power to nominate directly. From this selection the final nominees would emerge and, consequently, the finalists.
Ana María Aldón, expelled, expressed her happiness and her wish to have stayed in the house for another week. Mayka, Asraf and Ana María were the nominees of the week, and Asraf was the first to save himself. The final decision was between the two women, with a percentage of 61% vs 39%, resulting in the expulsion of Ana María, surprising many due to her prominence in recent weeks.
On set, Ivana, Finito and Marc were told that they could return to the house for a weekend visit, with the possibility of two of them staying longer. The audience decided that Finito would stay for a few days to visit and chose Ivana as his companion, thus achieving the goal of the program.
Efrén decided not to return home, citing his discomfort in the conflicts with Marta and prioritizing his mental health.
Nominees and finalists
At the same time, the contestants starred in their last nominations, leaving Asraf, Marta, Manuel and Kerosene on the black list. However, an express salvation left Manuel out of danger, who was forced to nominate Elena directly. The final nominees are: Asraf, Marta, Kerosene and Elena. The first finalists are the Temptations trio: Manuel, Lucía and Mayka.
