The Ancient Music Festival of the Pyrenees (FeMAP) has unveiled the image that will represent it in its thirteenth edition. It is about the work Voliana, by the designer Marta Nebot, from Alt Àneu, which has been the winner of the poster competition that is held every year. Nebot’s proposal, from the El Local studio, combines natural elements of the Pyrenees with hands that, without needing any instrument, play a melody.
Thirty proposals
The FeMAP poster competition requires participants to be from the municipalities hosting the festival. This year, around thirty proposals have been submitted, of which six have been chosen as finalists. The other five were: Música de la terra, by J.O. Garreta de la Seu d’Urgell; The awakening of the lute, by Anna Fañanás de Sort; Roc, by Jaume Arneu de Llívia; Divine, by Oscar Coma d’Isona; and Trumpets of Death, by Ferran Castells de Tremp. All of them will receive a pass for two to all concerts in 2024 and a FeMAP CD.
An expert jury
The winning poster has been chosen by a jury made up of representatives of the festival’s municipalities and people linked to FeMAP. The jury assessed the originality, the composition, the visual impact, the clarity of the message and the relationship with the Pyrenees territory, its culture and its applicability to different formats.
The Pallars, three years in a row
With this victory, Pallars has won the FeMAP poster competition for three consecutive years. Last year, the poster chosen was El cant de la natura, by Gerard Llimós, also from Aneuen. In 2022, the winner was the Maria Domingo trampoline with the work Pictorial Pyrenees.
