The claim of ‘Where do you come from?’

In 2020, the band from Marratxí Cabot published the second work, the Premium EP (Blau), which included the vindictive “Tu d’on véns”, which denounced the deaths in the Mediterranean Sea and European indifference to these

A new life for the song

4 years later, and still with many things to resolve, the song takes on a new life, with a reggaeton and electronic outfit made by fellow Marratxians Flat Dreams.

The fusion of two bands

This new version of “Where are you from?” it combines the worlds of both sides. On the one hand, the voice and style of Josep Cabot; on the other, the reggaeton and electronics of Flat Dreams.

The production and the new stanzas

Flat Dreams has been in charge of the new production of the song, which has had the collaboration of Pepmi Moreno ‘Llvna’. In addition, they have added new verses sung by Llvna and Miquel Reus.

An acoustic performance

Ismael Montaño, a member of Flat Dreams, has reimagined some verses of the lyrics in an acoustic, intimate and first-person moment, accompanied by the piano.

The video clip

The new video clip directed by Adrià Moreno gives a nod to Cabot’s original and to the photographs of the band taken at the time, for that Premium, by Joan Cristòfol Arbós at the same airfield where the two groups are now located together.
