Carmen Borrego considered leaving ‘Survivors’
During the weekend, Carmen Borrego activated the abandonment protocol in the ‘Survivors 2024’ contest, but later decided not to do so and continues on the island. The contestant was greatly affected on Thursday, when her team lost a challenge and went from Playa Olimpo to Playa Condena. Given the scarcity of resources, she expressed her desire to leave through tears, stating that she could not bear the situation and that she was afraid.
A change of decision
The next day, Carmen Borrego maintained her intention to leave, arguing that she could not participate in the tests, communicate or remain active. She described her condition as dizzy, with gastrointestinal problems, high blood pressure, lack of sleep, and physical and mental weakness.
After saying goodbye to her companions and leaving on a boat, she returned minutes later after being evaluated by a doctor. After receiving a diagnosis and treatment, she decided to stay temporarily, expressing her feisty nature.
A firm decision
Carmen Borrego, after considering leaving ‘Survivors’, finally chose to remain in the contest. Despite her difficulties, her determination led her to reverse her initial decision, demonstrating her combative spirit.
