Dacia seeks to change its brand image

One of Dacia’s main objectives in recent years has been to get rid of the low-cost brand label and position itself as a direct competitor to general manufacturers such as Seat, Citroën and Kia. With the help of Renault, the Romanian brand has been modernizing its model range to offer greater quality, equipment and technology, thus getting closer to its segment rivals.

The new Duster shows Dacia’s progress

A clear example of this progress is the new Dacia Duster, the latest model launched by the brand in Europe. This vehicle has improved significantly in terms of perceived quality, equipment and technology, becoming increasingly closer to its direct competitors.

The Bigster: Dacia’s next step

But Dacia is not satisfied with the success of the Duster and is preparing its next launch: the Bigster. This model will be positioned at the top of the brand’s catalogue and will be the first C-SUV in Dacia’s history. Although all the details have not yet been revealed, the Bigster is expected to offer a quality of materials similar to that of its generalist competitors, especially in its most equipped versions.

Dacia’s promising future

Dacia’s future looks bright with the launch of the Bigster in 2025. This model is expected to become one of the best-selling in its category, like the new generation of the Duster. These vehicles represent the advancement and renewed essence of the brand, offering quality, equipment and technology at affordable prices.
