A musical reunion at the Palau de la Música
Next Monday, April 28, the Concert Hall of the Palau de la Música will host an exceptional event with the return of the Byzantine Accademia, one of the most prominent Baroque orchestras on the current landscape. This formation, under the baton of the renowned director Ottavio Dantone, is preparing to present his new interpretation by Il Giustino, a little -known work by Antonio Vivaldi.

Last year, the Byzantine Accademia was very successful with its Tamerlano version, and are now preparing to offer a new musical experience with Il Giustino. The opera, which incorporates a libretto reviewed by Count Nicolò Beregan, originates in an earlier piece by Pietro Pariati and goes back to a primitive version that was possibly written by Antonio Lucchini. This rich story brings an additional layer of interest to the work, which has lasted over the years and is now again claimed by new generations.
