A radical commitment to electrification
A few months ago, Jaguar, one of the most prominent brands in the premium segment of the automotive industry, made a decision that surprised many. The British company decided to commit completely to the electrification of its models, leaving aside combustion engines in a radical and unconventional measure.
Unlike the gradual transition that other brands usually make, Jaguar chose to completely stop the production of its combustion models, waiting for the arrival of its new line of 100% electric vehicles. This strategy undoubtedly marks a milestone in the automotive industry and reflects Jaguar’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Farewell to an icon: the Jaguar F-Pace
As part of its 90th anniversary, Jaguar has decided to say goodbye to one of its most emblematic models, the F-Pace. Despite not having achieved large market shares compared to its direct competitors, this model has been one of the brand’s best sellers, with more than 328,000 units sold worldwide in almost eight years.
The farewell to the F-Pace will be carried out with the launch of a special edition, the 90th Anniversary, which will offer exclusive design details and will be available with various mechanical options that are still part of the range of this model.
Prices and expectations
The prices of this special edition, which will include versions with diesel engines and light microhybridization systems, will range between just over €71,000 and almost €93,000 in its most complete versions. Although this farewell is expected to generate considerable sales volume, high prices could pose a challenge in this regard.
