The stance of Sant Feliu En Comú Podemos

Sant Feliu En Comú Podem has reiterated its position regarding the Primary Care Emergency Center (CUAP) and the rejection of the budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya during a press conference with the presence of deputy David Cid and leader Lídia Muñoz at CAP Rambla.

Deputy David Cid has emphasized that the CUAP agreement was already included in the accounts of two years ago and that the transfer and construction of a new emergency center had already been decided and budgeted for. In addition, he has expressed his incomprehension at the fact that an agreement that was already signed since 2022 is being presented as a success.

In the Catalan area, Cid has justified the rejection of the budgets of the Generalitat by stating that the current priorities are housing, health and public education, opposing the macro-projects proposed by the PSC such as a casino, the expansion of the Vallès motorway or the Prat airport. In addition, he has criticized the budgets presented by ERC to Parliament for lacking ambition in the area of healthcare, especially in relation to Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

Statements by Lídia Muñoz

The leader of Sant Feliu En Comú Podem, Lídia Muñoz, has denounced that the PSC continues to lie about the city’s situation in different areas. He denied the accusations about the economic situation of the City Council and rebuked the negative vote on this year’s budgets, stating that if the transfer of the land had been approved in the spring of last year, the project of the new CUAP could be already underway

Muñoz has claimed the defense of public health in Sant Feliu and has urged the municipal government to take the reins of the city.
