A new year full of challenges and opportunities
Infanta Sofia has returned to the classrooms of UWC Atlantic College, one of the most recognized boarding schools in the United Kingdom, to begin her second year of high school. After a summer of rest and fun, the young princess prepares to face an academic year that will mark her path to the future.
Welcome and integration activities
Although official classes will not start until September 3rd, Infanta Sofia has progressed to her new year by participating in a welcome day organized on August 27th. This activity was designed to facilitate the integration of students and allow them to get to know each other better before the start of classes.
Key subjects of the second year
In this second year of high school, the girl will have to take several fundamental subjects. Among the compulsory subjects are Essay Estes, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity and Service, which will contribute to your comprehensive training.
Elective options and diversification
In addition, Sofia will have the opportunity to choose from a range of electives including Language and Literature Studies, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics and the Arts, allowing her to personalize her educational experience.
Emotional support and well-being
Atlantic College’s educational program also includes a pastoral care service, designed to provide emotional support to students. Selected students are available to help their peers with personal issues, creating an atmosphere of trust and community.
Sports and extracurricular activities
Infanta Sofia will also be able to enjoy a variety of sports activities. The boarding school offers options such as basketball, volleyball, swimming, dance, yoga, tennis, cricket and boxing, so the young woman will be able to devote time to her sporting passions.
Expectations for the future
Infanta Sofia’s first holiday period is scheduled for October 25, when she will be able to return to Spain to spend time with her family. These breaks are not only a time to rest, but also an opportunity to reflect on your academic journey so far.
