A new edition of the Christmas Salon
The Christmas Fair is a traditional activity that is held in the parish of Encamp and attracts people from all over the Principality. After three years without being able to celebrate due to the pandemic, this year the new edition is being prepared, which will be number 30.
A shorter duration
On this occasion, the event will be shorter in duration. Last year, the Christmas Fair was extended for nine days, but this year it has been decided to shorten one day in each of the two locations. This means that in Encamp it will start on the 27th and last until the 30th, while in Pas it will last from January 2 to 4.
A lower budget
This reduction in duration also leads to a decrease in the estimated budget for the fair. According to the tender called to hire the organizing company, 140,000 euros have been allocated, 10,000 less than in the previous edition.
Five different spaces
This year, the organization of the Christmas Hall wants to divide it into five different spaces. There will be an area for family shows, another for creative workshops, a third with the most modern technologies and successful video games, a psychomotor area for the smallest children and a sports area.
Open call
The competition to hire the company organizing the Christmas Salon will be open until the beginning of June. It is expected that the award will be made during this month to give time to the winning company to prepare the event.
