A look at the contemporary art exhibitions in Sant Feliu

Last Thursday, March 14, I had the opportunity to attend the openings of two contemporary art exhibitions at Palau Falguera in Sant Feliu. These exhibitions were part of the XIII Poetry Week and captivated the public’s attention with their unique and innovative proposals.

Art as a reflection on our way of looking

The two exhibitions, entitled ‘Art does not exist’ by Roger Romagosa and ‘Research corners’ by Roman Bonet, invite us to reflect on our own way of looking and how we interpret what we see. Both artists offer us unique perspectives and invite us to explore the world of contemporary art from different angles.

Contemporary art as a source of inspiration and personal renewal

Contemporary art has the ability to awaken our imagination and open us to new ideas and perspectives. The works of Roger Romagosa show us a realistic aesthetic and details of the urban landscape of Sant Feliu, while the paintings of Roman Bonet transport us to landscapes and expressive portraits of Sant Vicenç dels Horts. Through these works, both artists and viewers can explore their own complexity and freedom of thought.

The importance of the seeing eye

Both ‘Art does not exist’ and ‘Research corners’ remind us of the importance of the eye that sees. Romagosa’s works invite us to complete the scenes with our own imagination, while Bonet’s paintings show us his technical skill and thematic sincerity. These exhibitions ask us how we look, how we interpret and how we connect with the images around us.

Contemporary art as a questioning of reality

Contemporary art has the ability to question reality and open us to new creative paths. As viewers, it invites us to step out of our mental box and explore new perspectives and sensations. This form of art reminds us that reality is different for each person and that the experience of art is subjective and personal.

The importance of contemporary art in today’s world

In a world of constant change and complexity, contemporary art offers us an opportunity for renewal and personal growth. It invites us to explore new ways of seeing and interpreting the world around us. Contemporary art is a source of inspiration and reflection that helps us better understand our own complexity and the diversity of perspectives that exist in the world.

Conclusion

The exhibitions ‘Art does not exist’ and ‘Research corners’ show us the importance of contemporary art in our daily lives. They invite us to reflect on our way of looking and to explore new perspectives and sensations. Contemporary art reminds us that reality is subjective and that each person has their own way of seeing and interpreting the world. Through their works, both Roger Romagosa and Roman Bonet invite us to question ourselves and to discover our own complexity and freedom of thought.
