A decade of changes and challenges
Last Wednesday, June 19, the tenth anniversary of the proclamation of Felipe VI as king of Spain was commemorated. Accompanied by Letizia, Leonor and Sofía, the monarch has faced a decade marked by challenges and significant transformations. Ten years ago, the monarchy was shaken by the actions of Juan Carlos, which endangered his continuity. The current kings have had to make enormous efforts to regain the trust of the citizens.
Physical evolution and current appearance
Since his accession to the throne in 2014, Felipe VI has undergone notable physical changes. At that time, he was 46 years old, while Letizia was 41. After celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary, the kings promised to modernize the crown. Dr. Miguel de la Peña, from the Diego de León clinics, has analyzed the physical evolution of the monarch, highlighting that, at 56 years old, he has not resorted to aesthetic interventions, showing natural aging.
Resistance to aesthetic pressure
Despite the possibility of undergoing a hair transplant, Felipe VI has rejected this option, considering that, at his age, it is not necessary. Dr. De la Peña has pointed out that the increase in gray hair and expression lines, as well as hair loss, could be attributed to the stress inherent to his role as the country’s highest representative.
International recognition
International media such as Tatler have praised the imposing presence and current attractiveness of King Felipe VI, even asking if he is the most handsome royal in the world. The Times has even dubbed him ‘The Fabulous’.
