Balenyà’s government approves the budgets despite the allegations

The Balenyà City Council’s budget for 2009, which amounts to 3.98 million euros, has been approved after dismissing the allegations presented by EpB. The allegations were considered not relevant by the government, led by Tomàs Girvent of the PSC, and were rejected in an extraordinary plenary session. This decision highlighted the division between the majority groups, the PSC and Entesa per Balenyà, which had shared government a short time ago. In addition, during the same plenary session, two planning agreements were approved for the municipal ownership of the soccer field.

Investment in infrastructure and services

The 3.98 million euros of the budget are mainly allocated to the construction of the municipal kindergarten, which will occupy the space currently occupied by the tennis courts. In addition, 140,000 euros have been set aside to move the tracks in front of the pavilion. This investment in infrastructure and services demonstrates the commitment of the Balenyà government to the well-being of children and families in the municipality.
