The center of Manlleu will be transformed into a stage for the “Magic Shopping Night”
Next Saturday 21 May, from 8pm to 12pm, the streets of the center of Manlleu will be filled with life with a night dedicated to commerce, culture and gastronomy. More than 40 commercial and restaurant establishments will participate in this initiative which aims to boost the town’s economic and social activity.
A wide variety of offers and activities
Visitors will be able to enjoy the proposals that the businesses and the Manlleu Municipal Market will have prepared for the occasion, both in their stores and in outdoor spaces. In Plaça Fra Bernardí and Carrer del Pont, Enric Delaris, Fedanci and Sant Jordi, you will find a wide variety of quality products and services at attractive prices.
In addition, the night will have a program of fun, gastronomic and cultural activities for all tastes and ages. The Ma Cinta Dance School will present a sample of the show “A summer night”, inspired by Shakespeare’s work. Music lovers will be able to listen to the performances of the Combo Group of the Manlleu School of Music, La Musetter Fest and the itinerant shows of the Estruços exploradors and the Infestum Marching Band. There will also be family workshops and the Tribal & Flames dance show, which combines fire and rhythm.
A commercial revitalization activity with the support of different entities
The “Magic Shopping Night” is an activity organized by the OPE Manlleu, with the collaboration of the shopkeepers’ association MAB Manlleu, the Merchants’ Association of the Municipal Market of Manlleu, the Municipal Music School of Manlleu and the Provincial Council of Barcelona. With this initiative, we want to recover a tradition that was very successful in previous years and that invites all the people of Manlleu, as well as visitors from other towns, to discover the commercial, cultural and gastronomic potential of Manlleu.
