Discover the Yazoo Days
During the days 13, 14 and 15 March, the School of Art and Design of the Diputació de Tarragona in Reus will be the scene of nine conferences by prominent professionals in the fields of design, architecture and video games . All sessions will be open to the public.
The Yazoo Conferences celebrate their 20th edition and are an example of the spirit of continuous training and exchange of knowledge that characterizes the School of Art and Design of the Provincial Government in Reus. These days are an opportunity for the students of the school and for all citizens to connect with internationally renowned professionals.
Outstanding lectures
This year’s program begins with a conference on artificial intelligence and art, given by Jorge Luis Marzo, art historian and professor at BAU Center Universitari d’Arts i Disseny de Barcelona, on Wednesday 13 March at 6:30 p.m. The conferences will continue on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 March, in morning and afternoon sessions.
Featured speakers
Speakers include Martí Pinós, pixelart animator at The Game Kitchen studio, Sara Baldasano, architect and designer at Somos Nido architecture studio, architects Anna and Eugeni Bach from A&EB architecture studio, David Galar , graphic designer specialized in Motion Design, and Gerard Martínez, artist specialized in the creation of 3D characters.
