Tanker trucks arrive at Osona gas stations
This Tuesday at noon, the first fuel tankers arrived in the region of Osona, protected by the Mossos d’Esquadra. Since ten o’clock on Monday night, the Mossos d’Esquadra have escorted 164 trucks carrying essential products, such as fuel, food, medicine and water treatment products.
Guaranteed supply of basic products
According to the Minister of Health, Marina Geli, there are no problems with the supply of medicine or food in Catalonia. The interdepartmental commission created by the Government of the Generalitat is working to guarantee the supply of basic products, such as fuel and food. The Government will continue to enable convoys to accompany the supply of fuel to gas stations.
Follow-up of the transporters’ strike
The second day of the transporters’ strike is passing without any major incidents, according to the Minister of Health. The Government of the Generalitat is in permanent contact with the Spanish government to reach an agreement with the entire transport sector.
