National Franchise Awards 2023
The Spanish Franchise Association (AEF) has announced the winners of the 2023 National Franchise Awards. The awards ceremony took place last Monday, April 15 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid.
La Despensa Express, the best distribution and food franchise
In the category for best franchisor in the distribution and food sector, the award has been awarded to La Despensa Express. This recognition highlights the excellence and success of this Castilian-La Mancha company in the field of franchising.
An award presented by outstanding personalities
The award was presented to La Despensa franchise director, Joaquín Martínez, by important figures in the sector. Among them were the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Services of the Community of Madrid, Marta Nieto Novo; the general director of Commerce and Hospitality of the Madrid City Council, Concepción Díaz de Villegas, and the President of the AEF, Luisa Masuet.

La Despensa Express, as a national winner, will now seek to obtain the prestigious “European Franchise Award”. The award ceremony for this award will take place on October 10 at Le Bouche à Oreille, in Brussels. It will be an opportunity for the Castilian-La Mancha company to stand out at a European level.
