Successful operation and favorable prognosis

Dr. Teresa Solà, eminent surgeon at the Teknon Clinic, has performed a surgical intervention on Joan Verdú, an Andorran skier, with highly satisfactory results. According to the physiotherapist of the Andorran Ski Federation, Pol Ferrer, the operation has gone smoothly and all the planned objectives have been met.

Recovery and rehabilitation

The prognosis is optimistic, and Verdú is expected to experience a notable improvement in his athletic performance and general health. The skier must rest completely for the next three weeks, followed by an additional three weeks of active recovery under medical supervision.

Statements by Joan Verdú

On his social networks, Verdú has expressed his satisfaction with the intervention: ‘Today I had back surgery to resolve the problems that I have had for a long time. I know I will do everything necessary to achieve my goals, and this was essential to compete without pain and train normally.’

Thanks to the medical team

Verdú has thanked the doctors and the entire medical team at the hospital for their work. He already has his sights set on next season, aiming to return to competition in top form.
