Reus City Council promotes a program of actions to promote the Mercat del Carrilet
Reus City Council, through the departments of Citizen Relations and Economic Promotion, Innovation and Knowledge, has launched a program of actions to energize the Mercat del Carrilet.
With the collaboration of the stallholders, various activities have been organized that will take place during the spring under the motto “Viu el Carrilet!”.
A varied offer for all tastes
The program includes a wide range of activities, such as cooking demonstrations, drawing workshops and line dancing, among others.
The first act, which will consist of a live drawing demonstration by a local artist, will take place this Saturday, April 6 from 10.30am.
Other outstanding activities include the reading of the story “El nen sen nom”, by Monika Escuer Ros, writer of magical stories, on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m., and the cooking workshop “Li donem un tomb a las salads”, on Friday 26 April from 6 to 7.30 pm.
In addition, open online dance classes with choreography and festive music will be held on Tuesday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Celebration of 40 years of the Mercat del Carrilet
This program of actions is part of the commemoration of the 40 years of the Mercat del Carrilet, which has been a place of reference in the city throughout this time.
With these activities, the Reus City Council wants to help the stallholders to energize the facilities and continue to exercise their activity until the works begin.
