The stance of Sant Feliu En Comú Podemos on the CUAP
Sant Feliu En Comú Podem has denied being against the CUAP despite its rejection of the budgets of the Generalitat de Catalunya. During the visit of deputy David Cid at the gates of CAP Rambla, they ratified this position in a press conference. The member of the Parliament of Catalonia assured that the CUAP agreement was already included in the accounts of two years ago and that the transfer and the construction of a new emergency center had already been decided and budgeted. This disproves the idea that they were against the CUAP, despite their opposition to the budgets of the Generalitat.
The rejection of the budgets of the Generalitat
In the Catalan area, David Cid justified the Commons’ rejection of the Generalitat’s budgets by stating that the current priorities are housing, healthcare and public education. In addition, they opposed the macro-projects proposed by the PSC such as a casino, the expansion of the Vallès motorway or the Prat airport. They also considered the budgets presented by the ERC to be unambitious, especially in the field of health, particularly with regard to Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
Lídia Muñoz’s vision of the city’s situation
Lídia Muñoz, leader of Sant Feliu En Comú Podem, denounced that the PSC continues to lie about the city’s situation in different areas. He denied the socialists’ claims about the City Council’s economic situation and reprimanded them for their opposition to the construction of the new CUAP for their negative vote on this year’s budgets.
The transfer of land for the start-up of the new health center
Muñoz recalled that the transfer of the land for the start-up of the new health center could have been approved at the municipal meeting in April 2023. He explained that, if it had been approved in the spring of last year, currently the project could be drafted. From the commons they demand the defense of public health in Sant Feliu and urge the municipal government to govern the city.
