The Success of the Debate at the Theater Auditorium
The Ginebró high school in Llinars del Vallès has achieved an overwhelming victory in the Debating Tournament, recently held at the Teatre Auditori. The 1st year high school students, representatives of the center, have received the highest recognition from the jury compared to other participating institutes such as Institut Giola and El Sui de Cardedeu. The central theme of the debate revolved around the question: “Does artificial intelligence represent a threat to humanity?”. This feat has been a testament to the talent and preparation of Ginebró students.
Recognition of the Authorities
The Councilor for Education of Llinars, Mònica López, has praised the success of the day, highlighting the level demonstrated by the participating students. In addition, he expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the organization and assured that the next edition will be even better. This recognition by the local authorities highlights the importance and impact of this event in the educational community.
Promotion of Transversal Skills
This debating tournament, promoted by the educational centers themselves, has as its main objective to promote the transversal skills of students through the use of speech, narrative and argumentation. In addition, it seeks to create a training space where the use of Catalan is promoted as a vehicular language, contributing to strengthening young people’s communication skills.
