The magic of the Christmas train
This weekend, La Seu d’Urgell will be transformed into a magical setting with the introduction of a charming Christmas train. This new proposal will take place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December, with a schedule that covers from 11:30 to 1:30 and from 4 to 7 pm. The train, which will visit several strategic stops in the center, is a completely free activity, especially designed to entertain the little ones.
Train stops and route
The train route will include stops at Plaça Catalunya, the Santa Magdalena children’s park, Carrer Llorenç Tomàs i Costa, as well as Plaça dels Oms. This initiative will not only bring fun, but also contribute to the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Market.
Christmas Market: a growing tradition
From December 6th to 8th, the Passeig Joan Brudieu will host the traditional Christmas Market, an event that promises to be a meeting point for families and craft lovers. The stalls will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm and 3.30pm to 9pm, and on Sunday from 10am to 2pm and 3.30pm to 8pm.
A varied offer
Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of products, which will include local crafts, fashion, accessories, Christmas decorations and gastronomic delights, thus creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
Prizes and activities for everyone
One of the most exciting new features is the ‘Shop at the Christmas Market for a Prize’ raffle, which will take place on Sunday 8 December at 7pm. All shoppers will receive a ticket to enter the raffle for 40 poinsettias and 5 family board games. This event will be hosted by the popular Ivan Caro.
Activities and shows
In addition to the raffle, the Christmas Market will offer a series of fun activities for all ages. Attendees will be able to enjoy giant wooden games, storytelling, puppet shows, concerts and many more surprises. Featured artists will include Cia. Vergés, We Swing Pirineus, and the duo of Pep Lizandra and Elies Porter.
