The City Council of Igualada has obtained a grant of 184,000 euros provided by the Diputación, designed to transform the Ateneo Municipal Theater. This initiative represents a significant step in the modernization of one of the most important cultural pillars in the city.

The Councilor for Culture, Carme Riera, emphasized the importance of this theater, which receives more than 60,000 visitors each year and has an average use of 200 days a year.
