Magazine launch on an emblematic day
This Thursday, February 13, an innovative initiative that brings together the local radio stations of Altafulla, Torredembarra and Roda de Berà will be launched. Coinciding with the celebration of World Radio Day, ‘Baix Gaià al dia’ will be launched, a magazine that promises to offer a fresh and dynamic look at the news and events of the region. The special program will take place at the Radio Museum of Roda de Berà, from 9 to 11 in the morning, and from now on, this time will become its usual broadcast space.
A collaboration to strengthen local identity
The initiative, presented on December 28 by mayors Pere Virgili (Roda de Berà) and Jordi Molinera (Altafulla), as well as councilor Joel Ramírez (Torredembarra), seeks to enhance the voice of the sub-region and foster a sense of belonging among its inhabitants. This collaboration arises with the aim of improving communication in the north of Tarragonès, creating a medium that reflects the diversity and needs of the populations of Baix Gaià.
Un programa modern i accessible
The magazine ‘Baix Gaià al dia’ will be presented as an innovative product, accessible through the frequencies of the three stations and also available on various digital platforms. With the aim of guaranteeing maximum coverage, the program will be present on social networks, including Instagram, where the profile @baixgaia.aldia has already been created with more than 400 followers.
Magazine format and diverse content
The first half hour of the program will be dedicated to a news bulletin that will include local news from Altafulla, Torredembarra and Roda de Berà, as well as other nearby municipalities. Afterwards, Sònia Camí, Raquel Martínez and Eduard Virgili will host the magazine, which will include a rich variety of content such as meteorology, cultural agenda, language capsules and leisure recommendations.
Daily sections for a diverse audience
At 10 am, the program will include a relevant interview and several sections such as ‘Where we are going/astrology’, ‘Sustainability’, ‘Emmy’s Kitchen’, ‘Essential Wellbeing’, ‘Gardening’ and ‘From Cinema’. This diversified approach seeks to attract a wide audience and satisfy listeners’ concerns.
The future of local radio
With ‘Baix Gaià al dia’, a new direction is being set in local radio communication, with the aspiration of becoming a reference for the community. This alliance between local stations will not only enrich the programming, but will also strengthen the ties between citizens and their cultural identity.
