Àgata Roca has been recognized as the winner of the 50th Margarida Xirgu Memorial Theater Award, an award that distinguishes the best actress of the Barcelona theater season. Àgata Roca, born in Barcelona in 1968, founded the theater company T in 1991, after finishing her studies at the Theater Institute. With his company, he has premiered several plays and participated in television productions such as Link Station, Porca miséria, Ventdelplà, Kubala, Moreno i Manchón, and Les de l’hoquei. His presence has also been noticed in the cinema, with participation in several films such as Las horas del día, Excuses!, Dictado, Truman and El pregón.

The Margarida Xirgu Memorial Theater Award, in honor of the actress and director of Molins de Rei, has been awarded annually since 1973.
