The last election has made it clear that the majority of the Alcoyan population is inclined to progressive options. This reality is a reflection of the democratic commitment that we must respect. To win Alcoy, we have acted with a responsible position with respect to the municipal budgets, opting for the abstention in order to improve the proposals in social and economic areas.
The Language as a Unit tool
One of the most intense debates today is the use of Valencian. While some parties, such as the PP and Vox, seek to make a dividing element, to win Alcoy, we believe that our language is a symbol of identity and cohesion. Linguistic diversity is a heritage that enriches our society, and the attacks on the language are ultimately attacks on coexistence.

Industrial growth must be compatible with sustainability, since we cannot allow us to lose what defines us as a people.
Criticism of current policies
The Popular Party of Alcoy needs to clarify what model of government it wants to adopt. Following the example of Carlos Mazón is, without a doubt, an incorrect path. The lack of leadership in the face of the Dana crisis and the cuts in public services are just a few examples of the inefficiency of the current government.
The Pact with Vox: a step back
The agreement between Mazón and Vox to approve the budgets of the Valencian Country is not only a political agreement, but also a setback in rights and in institutional respect. This pact is an offense for the victims of the catastrophe and an insult to the citizenry that awaits solutions.
Building an inclusive future
Alcoy must continue to be an example of plurality and sustainability. We need to focus on people, rejecting any agreement that is not aligned with this philosophy. Progress must be social, economic and environmental, with a firm commitment to ensure that no one is behind.
