A New Exhibition to Close the Year
The Cathedral Art Gallery is approaching the end of the year with an exhibition that promises to captivate art lovers. Starting Friday, December 13, 2024, the ‘Christmas Room’ will open its doors to a collection of works that highlights the diversity and creativity of 20 guest artists.
Artists of Tota la Lluna
This event brings together talents from various corners of the world. Among the selected artists we find names such as Laura Álvarez Keller from Switzerland, Verónica Bilbao from Argentina, and Cristina Bonet from Catalonia, among others. Each artist presents a piece that reflects their uniqueness and artistic vision.
An International Journey through Art
With artists from seven different countries, this exhibition not only enriches the gallery but also offers a window into the diverse traditions and styles that shape the contemporary art scene. Some of them, such as José Antonio del Hoyo and Olga del Rio, are residents of the region, thus bringing a local touch to this global exhibition.
An Exclusive Catalog and Immersive Experiences
To complement the exhibition, the gallery has created a book documenting the works on display, offering visitors a tool to deepen their appreciation of each piece. The works, which span a wide range of styles and techniques, will be immersed in the unique atmosphere of the building, a factor that is expected to enrich the viewing experience.
A Space Dedicated to the History of Catalan Art
In addition to the new exhibition, the Cathedral Art Gallery maintains its museum area, which allows visitors to explore works by Catalan masters from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This section is a tribute to Catalonia’s rich artistic heritage.
Opening Details and Key Dates
The inauguration of the ‘Christmas Salon’ is scheduled for Friday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m., offering attendees the opportunity to be the first to enjoy this exceptional exhibition. The exhibition will remain open until January 26, 2025, inviting everyone to discover and celebrate art in a festive setting.
