The father arrested for the death of his five-year-old son
The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested the father of the five-year-old boy who was murdered this morning in Bellcaire d’Empordà, in Baix Empordà. According to police sources, the man is considered the alleged perpetrator of his son’s death and is also accused of stabbing the mother, who is currently hospitalized. The events took place at the family home, where the child and mother were stabbed. The woman managed to ask for help from a neighbor, who alerted the emergency services. At the time of the arrest, the man was carrying the weapon allegedly used in the assault and had injuries. He is currently in police custody at the Bisbal d’Empordà police station.
