The Prosecutor’s Office acts against trafficking illegal substances
A man and woman face a five -year prison and a fine of 12,000 euros for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking in the Pallars Sobirà region. The events, according to the accusation, date back to August 2022, when the couple began operating until their arrest in July 2023.
Police operation and shocking discoveries
The operation of the Mossos d’Esquadra culminated in the location of various amounts of cocaine and marijuana at the couple’s home in Rialp, as well as 21,520 euros in cash. The investigation revealed a payment system through Bizum, which allowed authorities to trace 463 transfers, which added a total of 20,782 euros.
